Polygon Lab was funded by Guillaume Fradin. He developed his career leading teams on large visual effects films, such as Avatar, Gravity, The Martian and Doctor Strange.
After a decade of ground breaking visual effects work, he decided to explore new narrative forms. He noticed from the start that WebGL - the tech that allows 3D in browsers - would open the door to new experiences.
